Confessional.

Midweek confessions...

~I kind of enjoy cleaning.

~This pregnancy has actually been pretty rough, though I try not to complain since it's what we have dreamed of and worked so hard for.  (Excuse the sentence-ending preposition.)  The nausea is still lingering, my sciatic nerve pain takes my breath away, and it feels like I got hit in the crotch with a sledgehammer (thank you, pubic symphysis disfunction).  There.  Now I'll stop complaining.

~And speaking of sentence-ending prepositions... I'm not claiming to be perfect, but grammatical errors drive me crazy.

~I'm already sad about CK going back to preschool this fall.  Though it's only two half-days a week, and I know it'll be great for her (and me!), I'm gonna miss her!

~I'm a sucker for rainbow sprinkles.

~I am SO excited about my NC girlfriends coming into town tonight!  It hasn't been hard meeting people here, but finding people who genuinely want me to be a part of their lives and who I'd feel comfortable calling up at 2am for a good cry... that's tough.  Especially in a small town where everyone already has enough girlfriends.  So, since it's been a little tough to find my way, to find my niche - I'm looking forward to being surrounded by three women who make me feel ok for just being me.

~I don't like liquor, unless it's tequila in a margarita.

~I recently had my eyebrows waxed for the first time in my life.

~I think chocolate ice cream is disgusting.

~I still worry, every single day, about losing this baby - and still won't let myself believe this is actually going to happen.

~I haven't had a haircut in over seven months.

~Lately, I've been craving mashed potatoes with gravy, Greek food, and a Nutrageous candy bar!

~We rarely, if ever, have dirty dishes in the sink.

~I've been making and eating S'mores almost daily.

~Sneezing isn't going so well for me these days.  Picture - baby low in pelvis, sitting on bladder, inside body that birthed an almost-10-pound little girl... 'Nuff said.

Happy Hump Day!

  1. Have fun with your friends Jessie girl!
I loathe cleaning... But I'd be happy cooking all. Day. Long.
Hang in there. I think every momma has that worry.
THEN once Hailee was here, I worried about the whole SIDS thing. Being a mom pretty much means we are gonna worry. You're not alone ;)
